When we are young - I mean really young - we never envision that 75 plus years later and a lifetime of experiences, our sharing of experiences - the good - the bad - are not just our stories but commonality in generations of others. And, I wonder, how come I seem to have an extraordinary amount of experiences that many have never had. Was I just born with underlying issues that surfaced as I grew older and older. OR did they happen to me to make me stronger in will and tenacity? OR was it to break my strength? Ha ha see you couldn't take what we threw at you. Inferior human.
Looking back is good sometimes. No actually most times. If we are honest with ourselves, reflection is a very good thing - IF we learn from it and not let it define us. I am a much different woman then I was 40 even 20 years ago. I have learned to speak up. Be vocal. Do not take crap from anyone! Hear me! I am transparent. Not afraid to say how I feel and what I feel. IF you cannot take my honest . . . my candor . . . then there is the door.
Take charge of your own life. It all starts with ME/YOU.
